I’m an amateur photographer who wants to travel light when I’m on the road. I generally bring my Canon R8 and have started to bring my Powershot V1 along - both use the same battery. But I don’t want to lug a wall charger along, and want to be able to use something USB-C. Both of my cameras charge via USB-C, but I want something easy and simple that won’t wear and tear the camera’s USB-C port (they’re expensive to repair).The included batteries work fine - there’s no issues that I can see with regards to power, camera issues or longevity. I feel confident that when my R8’s battery goes, I can pull one of this bag and can continue to shoot. The case itself is rather nice - it charges the batteries (including the Canon official battery) without issues and gives me a readout as to their battery percentages. The batteries charge via USB-C PD, so they offer a relatively quick charge. What was nice is that they can also trickle charge using a non-PD adapter (the Canon camera bodies can’t) so it gives me a bit more flexibility. The case also gives me two slots for SD cards, so I can always have a spare or two handy.Overall, I like it. It’s a good thing to keep in my camera bag and helps make simple the amount of chargers I need to carry and makes things flexible that I can charge two batteries at once so I’m not having to expend the effort to watch camera lights change in order to swap batteries. A good value for the price and works well.

Great little charger but I did notice a little self-drain if unplugged. It would be perfect if it would allow the batteries to be inserted upside down and the lid closed after charging so they don't self-discharge.

I bought these for my Canon EOS R8. I actually misread the item somehow and originally thought that the case it comes with had an internal battery similar to AirPods or something. The build quality compared to other third party batteries is unmatched. If in 3-6 months time they continue to perform well, I will buy another pair! Well worth the money and convenience! Charge speeds are very fast too but nothing to be concerned about. No excess heat either. Just an all around well built battery! Oh and it comes with 2 SD card holders inside of the battery case! Very creative thinking when this product was manufactured!
