I have an older gaming laptop with only two functioning USB ports. This means I cant use my mouse, headphones, and external hard drive at the same time. I was previously limited to only playing games I could fit on my laptop itself and had to delete games to make space, download ones I wanted to play, and then delete them again when I wanted to play a different game. With this cooling pad I can now use multiple devices and actually have easy access to multiple games on my external drive to play with my friends. It is also far more efficient at cooling than my laptops fans and I can game for longer than ever. I am very happy with my purchase even though it is the most expensive cooling pad I have bought - its definitely much more useful than cheap 20 dollar Amazon coolers that are powered by USB and therefore would take up one of my desperately needed ports.

I play high end gaming and move between the house and my garage bar. If I don't run it my laptop will always shut off. Half speed is enough and sound like a crypto mining rig when on full.

Drops temp averages by like 10 to 15 degrees Celsius (obviously better if you start it before gaming instead of after your laptop is already hot). I use it at 1200-1600 depending on the game. It can get loud at higher settings but if your laptop is hooked up for TV play or you have headphones on, you don't notice at all

I love this thing! I had a "IETS 500" & even though the IETS worked as needed. This thing brought my temps down 10 degrees more than my old IETS500 PAD. Definitely recommend for gamers with laptops. Just make sure you have cooling vents on the bottom of your laptop before purchasing to insure this thing will work for you!

Adjustable fan speed helps with the noise level. Very high build quality. Using with alienware m16r2 and have noticed a significant improvement in temps. Only nitpicking downside is the power button is awful, please add a physical switch
